Wentzville is located in western St Charles County, Missouri. Nicknamed "Crossroads to the Nations" because it lies at the intersection of Interstates 70 & 64. It was established in 1872 and still has the small town feel but with the amenities of a big city. Shopping, restaurants, movie theater, and a Historic Main Street district. Wentzville is also home to the St Charles County Fair. One of the city's major employers is General Motors assembly plant. Wentzville also has a highly rated public school district. In late 2017, out of 86 of Missouri's biggest cities, the personal finance website WalletHub ranked the city of Wentzville at No. 6 as the best place to raise a family in Missouri.
