The City of Chesterfield was formed in 1988 and is located about 25 miles west of St Louis, Missouri. Interstate 64/US Hwy 40 runs East-West through Chesterfield. Its made up of residential neighborhoods, shopping and dining, and business establishments. There is public transportation that connects Chesterfield to many other portions of the Greater St Louis area by numerous bus routes. Spirit of St. Louis Airport, a public airport is also located in Chesterfield Valley.
